At Hardup Castle the Broker's men have returned but are not getting much joy out of a very hung over Baron and his two stepdaughters who are recounting the event of the night before.
Could it be that Cinderella knows something they don't?
"He once called me fat and ugly"
Buttons, who knows a bit more than he is letting on, prepares for a clout round the ear from Salmonella as he tries to tell everybody that the Prince is on his way to the Castle for a slipper fitting session.
Salmonella and Barbarella try on the slipper without success, much to the relief of Prince Charming.
The Prince about to leave when Buttons points out that Cinderella hasn't tried on the slipper and guess what . . . . .
. ". . . . it fits, it fits!
Cinderella is the girl of my dreams", the Prince is overjoyed, Cinderella has cleaned her last grate and the Fairy Godmother and Wanda appear to explain why Cinderella had to run off as the magic reached its sell by date at midnight.
"Don't go Breaking My Heart" Prince Charming and his bride to be launch into song in their excitement
Mr Brown and Mr Darling are bribed into marrying the not so pretty sisters, the Baron's debts are written off and everybody lives happily ever after as The William Godfree Enemble prepare to launch into the finale
Now the front line were always together but as the next picture proves . . .
. . . the second line were, on at least one occasion, all together as well.
With a Thank you to close the show the curtain comes down on the Farringdon Production of Cinderella.
So everybody lives happily ever after, Cinders has her Prince , the Baron's debts are paid off. Perhaps not quite so happy ever after are the broker's men who end up with the Baron's step daughters but would one wish Brown and Darling to get off scot free in the current financial climate?
Thanks to all those behind the scenes who made the show such a success and who knows, if there is ever a Village Hall to perform in maybe there will be another Farringdon Pantomime sometime in the future.
