Macmillan Coffee Morning - Updated 28th September 2019

On Friday 27th September the annual Farringdon Macmillan Coffee Morning was held at Oakenrose by kind invitation of Linda and Patrick Ward.

 

 

 

 

 

It was a fantastic morning thanks to the efforts of a great team of helpers who worked very hard all morning selling lots of cakes and produce, making coffees, running the raffle with lots of lovely prizes, and running the gift stall.

 

There was also a stall selling goods in aid of The Mud House Childrens' Foundation, a local charity set up to support Maasai children in Tanzania

A large number of villagers turned out to participate and contribute to the event which was a great success and raised £935.41 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

A brilliant result which goes to show how supportive this lovely village is!
