The Rose and Crown is a traditional village pub, a free house serving a selection of real ales from
national and local brewers, with a wide ranging menu of excellent home cooked food available Lunchtime and Evenings see times below for details
Monday to Saturday: Lunchtime
Evening
Noon - 2.30
6.30 - 9.30
Sundays   Noon to 5.00

 

The pub was built in 1810 by the Knight family, of Chawton, and can be found in Upper Farringdon at the junction of Crows lane and Hall Lane.click for directions

 


How to Find Us:

The pub is situated three miles from Alton, Hampshire, off the A32 Fareham Road.

From Alton follow signs for Fareham (A32). Drive past fields and farmland before you reach Farringdon, with large 40 mph signs.

Continue until you reach the crossroads, then turn left. (signposted Upper Farringdon) The large cream house on the corner was once the village shop.

Continue up the hill, straight on past the turning to the church, until you reach the next T junction, where you will find the Rose & Crown. Turn left, past the front of the pub and you will find the entrance to the car park on your right.
