VOTING IN FARRINGDON - Updated May 3rd 2007

Too late to vote now as the Polls closed at 10 pm, but just to clear up some confusion about the Farringdon Polling Station as it appears that some residents were confused as to the precise location of the polling booths.

For reference, should the opportunity arise to vote at the same location in the future look carefully at the image below

The Polling Station is on the right, with the 'POLLING STATION' notice by the door, the building to the left, a hotbed of political discussion where one can sample a variety of ales, has a sign reading 'ROYAL OAK' above the door. To cast your vote it was necessary to make the short journey to the 'POLLING STATION' before closing time ( of the polling station - the pub remained open for a good hour afterwards).
