CAPRICORN
A New Year and you begin with renewed confidence after, for you, a relatively uneventful twelve months. Other people may attempt to influence your plans for 2012 but you must stand firm as long as possible to ensure a satisfactory conclusion. Your foresight in disposing of some of your investments has prevented any major losses but you would be advised to manage your assets with care over the coming year. Greenfly may cause some problems but with a little judicious pruning, major problems on the Horticultural front are unlikely to be a problem
AQUARIUS
 You start the year afresh now that the events of 2010 are all but forgotten. One again you should be careful in your relationship with your neighbours if you are to avoid becoming involved in a dispute, do not take sides until you are sure which side is going to come out on top. Romance beckons frequently earlier in the year but is arrested before any real damage is done.
You get some good news in the summer but make sure you have a foolproof cover story before you take up the opportunity offered. Your finances do not yield spectacular returns but beware of a tempting offer from a dark stranger with money in an account in an African country. Fortunately for you, the collapse of your greenhouse under the weight of the snow last year put an end to speculation about the contents but you should take steps to prevent any contamination of your compost.
PISCES
 With Uranus in ascendant and a conjunction in the astral plane expected in May, you should take care how you organise any social activities if you are to make the best of any unexpected opportunities. Your social standing in the village is once again under threat due to circumstances over which you have little control.
A short dose of medication may remedy any immediate difficulties but your should take care how you present yourself in public if you are to avoid any embarrassment. Your finances will be under severe stress early in the year but, with care you should end the year on a better footing. Keep a firm grip on noxious weeds and prune any excessive growth before it creates a nuisance, take particular care to prevent a mildew outbreak from ruining your best asset in the late summer.
ARIES
 The coming year could bring new opportunities in the workplace but make sure there is no chance they become common knowledge if you are to make the most of the situation. Your astral typography has a few potholes to trap the unwary but provided you keep your wits about you they are unlikely to cause any long term problems.
Your partner may influence your decisions later in the year and you should be wary of committing yourself to any village activities without careful consideration of the consequences. Despite this you friends stand by you although the same cannot be said of some of your relatives. You will have to tread very carefully if you are to restore any degree of respectability in the Village social hierarchy. Finances could be boosted by an offer from a Sunday newspaper after the television show (see above) but you would be advised to nurture your assets and preserve your position as the consequences of the offer could cause unnecessary suffering. Keeping your borders under control will improve your horticultural prospects and judicious application of nutrients will ensure a successful growing season.
GEMINI
 Saturn has moved away from your ecliptic but the minor planets will provide essential cover through the latter part of the year. This does leave you slightly exposed in the early months so you would be well advised to proceed carefully in social situations until the natural cover is restored. A voyage is on the horizon but wait until it comes closer before embarking. There is no need to take other than obvious precautions in your social life but always ensure you are well prepared in advance to make the most of any offers that come your way. Finance will be a major concern in the latter part of the year but things should be improving if you tread carefully in the run up to the festive season. Nurture your blooms and they will respond favourably but garden pests continue to cause your partner some embarrassment
CANCER
 This could be a difficult year unless you are fully equipped to take advantage of an unexpected opening, other wise the consequences could cause you acute embarrassment and a recurrence of a personal problem that might create a long term difficulties with those close to you and possibly some further afield. Providing this setback can be overcome, the latter half of the year may not be as bad as the first half.
Beware of over optimism, evangelists and electric bicycles which might induce fluctuations in your aura. Financially you should take steps to avoid interference with your investments by third parties and remember to keep your subscriptions up to date. Black spot could be a problem and you should nurture your fuchsias if maximum satisfaction is to be achieved.
LEO
 This is not a year to embark on any wild schemes or dangerous pursuits, especially with members of the opposite sex, unless you are absolutely sure there will be no misunderstanding of your intentions. A tall dark stranger will have some influence on your social activities but if you stick to your story charges are likely to be dropped. There are confusing aberrations on your astral plane which may lead to a degree of instability, especially after closing time, although it may indicate a new opportunity that will present itself when the minor planets are aligned diametrically, providing your quarks aren’t agitated by a Higgs Boson Your finances continue to fluctuate but not to the extent they did last year so you should avoid major expenditure during the early part of the year although you may be able to afford a round by the middle of August. A nasty case of botrytis may catch you unawares but the consequences may not be too serious if you take early action. Avoid squashes this year but your broccoli could be outstanding.
VIRGO
 This could be a difficult Spring if any third party witnessed your indiscretion in late November but if you deny everything you should be in the clear as the other party or parties involved are unlikely to reveal their part in the proceedings. The coming year could offer new opportunities in your professional career providing you keep things under control but the influence of Jupiter in the late summer could have some influence on your life style decisions. As things stand the minor planets in Leo may also cause some aberrations in your ecliptic but providing you don’t expose yourself there should be no serious problems. You would be well advised to review your investments before too long it you are to avoid any serious deficiencies and your herbaceous borders should be given special attention if they are to provide a satisfactory display.
LIBRA
 Another year, another slight glitch in your social plans, although this time you are not entirely responsible for the misunderstanding. Despite this it will take all of your limited diplomatic skill to extract yourself from the situation without another stain on your character. While this will require your full concentration early in the year the if you play your cards with care, the Jubilee may give a chance to display your talents but definitely not the ones you displayed at the Millennium celebrations. Financially this could be a better year than last, despite the economic downturn, collapse of the Euro and the Milliband factor. Your assets are well distributed and, while not outstanding, are good enough to keep you on top of things. Your horticultural activities should be kept on a low profile this year to avoid reviving any ill feeling but generally your plants will thrive although you should take steps protect your tender parts against frost damage.
SCORPIO

Fortunately your finances are in better shape than your social standing and you will probably end the year in rather better shape than you started the last one. Your horticultural ambitions may be thwarted by your socials problems but you may well be surprised by an unexpected success in a non-horticultural pursuit
SAGITTARIUS
 Your love life will certainly be an improvement on last year, to be frank any sort of romance would be an improvement on last year. Having disassociated yourself from a disturbing influence your social standing may lead to further opportunities to make your presence felt. You should be careful who feels it however if you are to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings. There are indications of a minor setback in the autumn but this should not have a serious effect on your general well being in the long term. You will have to pay careful attention to your finances to avoid attracting the attention of Customs and Excise but otherwise you should have no serious problems in the coming year.
