FAMILY CHRISTINGLE SERVICE - Updated December 28th 2006

Arranging the lambThe Village Church full to bursting for the Family Service held on the evening of the 23rd December. Under the guidance of the Rev John Ellison, the service was based around the Christmas story with the younger generation filling the traditional roles to a narration from assorted fathers interspersed with a selection of Christmas Carols.

You're s'posed to be looking that way

After the distribution of the Christingles and the end of the service the players were very obliging and rearranged themselves for your photographer.
Mary's looking a bit concerned while Joseph sorts out the Donkey

After a bit of reshuffling and rearrangement everybody was more or less in place although some outfits did make communication something of a problem.

With everybody more or less in place it was time for the big picture, at this point I was informed they were relying on your photographer to record this unique occasion which coincided with the 'biz' digital throwing a wobbly. Surely there must be some moderately accomplished photographer in the house.
Fortunately a good clout restored functionality and the final shot was taken
Almost everybody in place.

Even the most incompetent photographers can have the luck to capture the odd gem and below is my picture of the year, taken almost by accident as everybody was preparing to leave the church.
Merry Christmas
